Currently Craving: Fisherman’s Sweaters and Skirts

I wore a fisherman sweater/skirt combo last week, and unfortunately, didn’t snap a pic. However, I’ve been thinking about my ensemble ever since (yes, I do pat myself on the back for an outfit well done)… And luckily, I just got 27 pounds of laundry done, so I can totally recreate it ASAP. Until then, here is some inspiration from some other lovely sources.

One thing to note - if you take on this look, be sure to wear contrasting textures, like in the examples above. A leather, silk, or even lace skirt works best to balance out the chunky knit. Another tip – if you are afraid of losing your shape, add a belt, tuck the sweater into the front, or look for a high-low sweater hem (see example numero uno).
