Gloves and mittens are a tricky accessory – I used to maintain the belief that they were merely a hindrance, a superfluous addition that served virtually the same purpose as pockets (which I am able to insert and remove my hand from with ease when I need to). On the other hand (har har), I feel I am missing a shopping, er fashion, opportunity… Well, that and how amazing are leather gloves for clapping at a hockey game? Thus, here is a round-up of some mittens and gloves that I am just dying to get my hands
It would be remiss if I let October go by without posting about ta-tas. As an advocate of pink on the reg, (see blog title…), I can’t help but love all the pink support that comes out during Breast Cancer Awareness month. What can be better than shopping AND helping other people?? Here are some of my favorite products you can purchase this month that will support the fight again breast cancer:
Clockwise from Top Left: Donna Karan Cashmere Eau de Parfum, Keep Calm and Fight On, Essie BCA Collection Polish, COACH leather bag, Movado Special Edition BCA watch, Giuliana Rancic for LOFT necklace, ECHO scarf, and Dannijo BCA bracelet
If you have any favorite pink products or stories, please share them in the comments!
I wore this easy, black midi-dress this weekend for brunch and some errands… I love a dress like this for summer, because you can change it up in so many ways. This time I styled it with a touch of tribal. For Fall, I can layer with a sweater and some brogues! Hope you all had a wonderful, long weekend!
Goodbye college, hello real world. Most graduates are looking forward to the day when they take another step on the path of life. They look to it with hope and a sense of adventure. I, on the other hand, left kicking and screaming yesterday afternoon from the University I have called home for the past four years. Anyway, I will be back on track soon but in the meantime here are some highlights from the past week that I spent hurrahing with my friends and family!
This face says it all…

Snapped these pictures in between classes the other day. We had a string of days with gorgeous weather here, so I could finally break out some spring dresses. This is one of my favorite maxi dresses. It has a cute retro feel to it, and when I wear it I feel like I want to walk along the seashore… Those two things aren’t directly related, but they’re both true…
