Got this great one-shoulder dress at Marshall’s a few years ago, and I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it. In the Fall, I will top it off with an oversized sweater or my denim jacket and booties. But for now, sexy sandals and a statement necklace are the perfect accents for a night out with my manfriend.
Wearing – Dress via Marshalls, vintage belt, Steve Madden shoes (last seen here), Michael Kors necklace, BaubleBar ring, Alex+Ani and vintage bracelet
What can I say? It’s hard not to pull a Marilyn when you are wearing a white pleated dress outside in the Summertime… Plus, it is kind of fun to twirl 🙂 I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday weekend!

I finallyhave a pair of these Ray-Ban Clubmaster frames (petite-version of course, as my head is unusually small for someone so smart…) that I’ve been cravingfor months thanks to a Bloomies gift card! Also wearing my favorite scarf which was purchased from Marshalls (much like all my scarves). In fact, my skirt and booties were also purchased via Marshalls and my sweater was a $10 vintage find! I was given this delightfullittle fedora for Christmas, which I immediately rejected as “too much” for me. My Mom refusedto return it, forced me to try it on everyday for a week, and finally convinced me (er, maybe?) that I looked “adorable” in it. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothingagainst hats. I often admire them on the heads of others, but I was never able to find one that fit my abnormally small dome (this version comes in sizes) or that seemed to fit my wardrobe. So here’s to new style adventures in 2013! Taking risks and taking names… while wearing a hat…
What do you think of my topper? Will you be taking fashion risks this year? Tell me in the comments!
