I’m baaaaaaaack! Forgive me for getting lazy going into hibernation… It was a tough Winter in Boston so here’s to Spring finally starting to arrive. Well, aside from the snow this morning but let’s just pretend that didn’t happen… Let’s kick off with some florals!

Got this great one-shoulder dress at Marshall’s a few years ago, and I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it. In the Fall, I will top it off with an oversized sweater or my denim jacket and booties. But for now, sexy sandals and a statement necklace are the perfect accents for a night out with my manfriend.
Wearing – Dress via Marshalls, vintage belt, Steve Madden shoes (last seen here), Michael Kors necklace, BaubleBar ring, Alex+Ani and vintage bracelet
I never tire of Black + White (or some shade of white), and one of my favorite ways to accessorize this color palette is with rich cognac accents, like this belt. Leopard wedges pull it all together for a polished, but laid-back late Summertime look.
Wearing – NIC+ZOE top, Zara skirt (old), Steve Madden wedges, Kate Spade bag, Michael Kors watch
What can I say? It’s hard not to pull a Marilyn when you are wearing a white pleated dress outside in the Summertime… Plus, it is kind of fun to twirl 🙂 I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday weekend!
Wearing – Dress via Marshall’s (similar), Boston Proper denim jacket (love this version), Steve Madden sandals c/o (similar), Michael Kors watch, J. Crew bangle, Presh wrap bracelet via Gilt, Gorjana rings (here and here)
This dress reminds me of one of my favorite fashion moments in movie history… the polo scene in Pretty Woman, when Julia Roberts is wearing that brown and white polka-dot dress, cinched with a belt, and a straw hat. And, of course, I get confused for Julia Roberts all.the.timein my dreams. Now all I need is a silver fox/billionaire to woo me and take me to polo matches… What are some of your favorite fashion moments in movies?
Wearing – Equipment dress (last seen here), Steve Madden sandals (similar), vintage belt and necklace, gifted cuff, BaubleBar beaded bracelet, gifted Alex+Ani gold bracelet, Anthropologie earrings (old)
When in doubt, I always reach for a pair of straight leg or boyfriend jeans, an easy, oxford blouse, and a great pair of shoes. This foolproof ensemble always looks effortlessly chic, which is what every woman strives for, isn’t it?
Never ones to pass up a designer diffusion collection, my Mom and I picked out this number from the Derek Lam for Kohl’s line that launched recently. I love the combination of colors in this dress and its versatility – I can wear this dress to the office, out to dinner, or with flats and a scarf on the weekends. This piece is definitely joining the ranks of my go-anywhere Summer dresses…
Wearing – Derek Lam for Kohls dress (lusting over this one), Steve Madden booties c/o, Necklace via Off-Fifth, Kate Spade bag (purchased in last week’s major sale), vintage and Gorjana rings (here and here), similar watch, and Bauble Bar bracelet
I wore this outfit to peruse a Farmer’s Market with the manfriend last weekend… I balanced out the femininity of the floral skirt with a basic v-neck T and a worn-in parka. I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating that maxi skirts and dresses look effortlessly chic and are insanely comfortable, which makes for a perfect weekend get-up.
