The evolution of metallics from just a pocket watch or a bauble around a woman’s neck to ready-to-wear pieces (Celine, Burberry, Matthew Williamson, DVF) is a truly beautiful thing. Lately I have been particularly drawn to metallic footwear, in all shapes and styles with a gold, silver, rose gold, copper or bronze glimmer. Trend Obsession: Oxblood

This started out as a trend report, and quickly changed into an obsession. I’m not in love with the name, but the color is AH-mazing! I painted my nails last night in an oxblood hue, and now I will commence to paint my entire life in this gorgeous color for Fall. See below for some serious style inspiration!
